Licensed Funeral Director
was proud to join the team at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in October of 2019.
As the son of
two Lutheran ministers, Frank has been around funeral service since he was a
young boy. He was born in the Midwest and spent his childhood in various areas
of Indiana, Minnesota, and North Dakota. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson
High School in Manassas, VA, in 1998, and then decided to get his bachelor’s
degree abroad, studying at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and earning
a degree in anthropology and political studies. Once he came back to the States
in 2002, Frank went into business management, but he found himself yearning for
a career where he could be of service to others. He started as a funeral
assistant in 2008 while going to school at John Tyler Community College in
Richmond, VA, for mortuary science. After Frank was fully licensed, he wanted
to return to the people and culture of his youth, settling in East Grand Forks,
forward to serving the families of Crookston and the surrounding area for years to come. He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and he is a very
proud, devoted family man.
