Mary Rusling

Mary Christine Rusling, Age 79, of Crookston, MN passed away on December 28, 2021 with her family by her side.

Mary was born in Crookston, MN at St. Vincent Hospital on September 20, 1942 to the late Richard and Helen Roettger.  She and her family lived in Crookston, Hallock and Karlstad Minnesota where she graduated from high school in 1960.  She started out in the workforce as a court reporter, soon after meeting her husband Noel Fred Rusling, they were married in Elko, Nevada in 1965.  They settled down in Crookston, MN where she was employed with Crookston Public Schools until her retirement.

She is survived by her son Jason (Marta) Rusling of Alliance, NE daughter Susan (David) Chaffee of Crookston, MN grandsons Adrian (Lilly) Chaffee of Thief River Falls, MN, Alexander Chaffee of Crookston, MN, Zachary Chaffee of Crookston, MN and 6 great-granddaughters, Aubree, Peyton, Ellawyn, Skyler, Layla, and Emma.  She is also survived by one brother Anthony (Audrey) Roettger and nieces Sara Roettger and Jackie (Mike) Banghart.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Noel, Parents Richard and Helen Roettger.

Burial will take place on a later date, at the convenience of the family.  In keeping with Mary’s wishes no services will be held.  She was cremated and will be interred with her husband Noel.
