Virgil E. Hennager, 79, of Crookston, MN, died August 18, 2015 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks ND. Funeral services will be at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN August 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetary in Crookston. Virgil was born March 3, 1936 in Crookston, MN to Earl and Nettie Hennager. In 1963 he moved to Council Bluffs Iowa. He married Mary Delph in March of 1965. He worked for Blue Star Frozen Foods as laborer from 1963-1980. He worked for SAPP Truck Stop as custodian from 1980 to 1999. When his wife, Mary, passed away in 1999 he moved back to Crookston to be near his family. Virgil was a very caring and loving person. His hobbies were Bingo, "Curb Shopping" and playing cards. He also enjoyed finding where his nephew Clayton was working so he could spend some time helping him.

He is survived by his siblings: Christine Worf, Crookston, MN, Edna Klema, Crookston, MN, Olive (James) Sperling, Bemidji, MN, John (Estelle) Hennager, Leeds, ND and his loving pet and companion Spider. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary in 1999 and 2 brothers, George and Ernest. His pallbearers will be: Nephews- Duane Reese, Clayton Briggs, David Briggs, Donnie Briggs. Nieces: Connie Barcus and Jodylee Lyons. Honary pallbearers will be all of his nephews and nieces.
