Sandra Kraft

Sandra Margo Kraft, age 77, passed away on January 1, 2016, with her family by her side. Sandra Funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston with Fr. Vincent Miller the celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Crookston. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born to Ernest and Helen (Jensen) Gunstinson on March 25, 1938 in Fisher Minnesota. She attended and graduated from Fisher High Schools. Sandra was united in marriage to John Michael Kraft on December 27, 1957 in Fisher. The couple lived in Barnsville, Minnesota, Richland Center, Wisconsin, Crookston, Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and returned to Crookston in 2002. Sandra spent many years bookkeeping for several companies. She enjoyed playing piano, baking, cooking, and taking in homeless animals. She will be forever remembered for her caring, kindheartedness, her love for nature and most important her love for her family. She was a devoted wife and mother; she loved her grandchildren and enjoyed family events. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; sons, Michael and Robert; daughter, Mary; brother, Vernon Gunstinson; mother and father-in-law Joe and Elizabeth Kraft. Sandra leaves behind two sons, Craig (Cheryl) Kraft from Seffner, Florida, and Tom (Brenda) Kraft from Crookston, Minnesota; grandchildren, Matt (Ashley Wateland) Kraft, Mary (Dave Bertheaume) Kraft, and Nicole Kraft; great-grandchildren, Landon, Saul, and Azariah; a brother, Jerry (Pat) Gunstinson from California; three sisters, Pat (Bill) Roy from California, Jennifer (Ron) Haggerty from East Grand Forks, Minnesota and Stephanie (Paul) Egeland from Fisher, Minnesota; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
