Roger Dean Ode, age 66, of Crookston, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. He was born July 9, 1959, to parents Vernon and Delphine (Rice) Ode.

Roger pursued a career as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Known as a jack of all trades, he embraced challenges with enthusiasm and took great pride in the various projects he undertook.

He enjoyed a full life, engaging in not only his work but also in his interests and hobbies. Roger's friendly disposition and willingness to help others made him a treasured friend to many.

Roger is survived by his son, Eli Ode; sibling, Whyne; and other beloved friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Delphine; and siblings, Howard and Diane.

Roger will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life honoring Roger will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, Minnesota. Visitation with the family will be a half hour prior.
