Norma J. Monson, age 78, Crookston, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Her door was always open for folks to drop in. She and Clayton had a strong faith, joining Trinity Lutheran Church after moving to Crookston. She and her sister spoke often, usually in Norwegian. Norma was a foster grandparent at the Carmen School. She was known for her handwork in embroidery and quilting, having made a quilt for each of her grandchildren for their high school graduation.
