Elizabeth J. Volker, 60, Crookston, died Monday, December 12, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, December 19 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Crookston with Reverend Steve Bohler, officiating. There will be a spring burial at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston, MN. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Elizabeth Jean Knudson was born September 19, 1956 in Devils Lake, ND to Donald and Sybil (Kelly) Knudson. She moved to Crookston, MN with her family as a young girl and is a 1975 graduate of Crookston Central High School. She worked for many years in the admitting department at Riverview Hospital and spent her recent years as a stay at home mom. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Arlin Volker May 30, 2003 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Crookston Elizabeth enjoyed jewelry making, photography, decorating her home, and traveling. Survivors include her husband, Arlin Volker of Crookston, 2 sons: Heath Waxler of Grand Forks, ND, Ben Waxler of Moorhead, MN, 2 granddaughters: Lexia and Lilliana Waxler, 2 brothers: Greg (Jeanine) Knudson of Louisville, CO, Brad Knudson of Crookston, 2 sisters: Kathy (Dan) Tuseth of Crookston and Caryl (Craig) Forseth of Sun City, AZ; sister-in-law, Karyn Knudson of Myakka City, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Livia and a brother, Mark. Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home is serving the family.
