Carol Hanson, 77, formerly of Crookston, Minnesota passed away on February 16, 2016, at Pioneer Memorial Care in Erskine, Minnesota. She was born March 31, 1938 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, to Albin and Bertha (Morin) Hanson. She attended St. Joseph Academy in Crookston and graduated in 1956. Carol loved her two cats; they were like her children. She enjoyed life in her apartment, loved knitting, and made many afghans, scarfs, and mittens. When her health forced her to give up her apartment, she moved into the Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston, where she absolutely LOVED living! From there she moved to Erskine and was a resident of the Pioneer Memorial Care Center. Preceding her in death were her parents. Carol is survived by her aunt Orella Nelson, Breckenridge, Minnesota; and many, many, cousins.
