Amanda Jo Johanneck, 27, of Shoreview, MN passed away unexpectedly August 30, 2017. Mandi was born on December 1, 1989 in Grand Forks, ND to Dan and Jodi Johanneck of Crookston, MN.
She attended elementary school in Red Lake Falls and Ada, MN, then moved to Somerset, WI where she graduated from high school. She attended the University of Wisconsin Stout. Mandi then moved to Crookston, MN where she began working at Walmart; she obtained her pharmacy technician certification while working in the pharmacy there. In 2014 she went to work at the pharmacy at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN and was currently employed there.
Anyone who knew Mandi was graced with her wonderful sense of humor, kindness and extensive conversation. Mandi's wit was one of her most endearing qualities and will be greatly missed by all. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends traveling, talking, shopping, and going for walks. Mandi is survived by her parents Dan and Jodi Johanneck; siblings Staci (Michael) Collison of Duluth, MN, Nathan and Leah; nephews Emmett and Theo; grandparents Herb and Lois Johanneck of Red Lake Falls, MN, Helen Moen, Gordon Moen both of Grand Forks, ND; loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her dog, Jasmine.
A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Amanda Jo Johanneck will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday September 8, 2017, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston with Rev. Vincent Miller. Visitation will be at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm prayer service.
